Here Comes Peter Cottontail.....

I LOVED these little treats from last year... Since Easter is around the corner, I thought it was time to bring back a few favorites!

Materials:

1. cone shaped treat bags or disposable clear icing bags
2. Goldfish or orange jelly beans
3. green paper grass
4. rubber bands
5. ribbon
6. party circles for favor tags
7. cellophane wrap

Directions:
1. Fill the treat bags with Goldfish or jelly beans.
2. Wrap a small piece of cellophane at the top of the snack to divide the grass and snack.
3. Place some grass half in and half out of the top of the bag.
4. Wrap a rubber band to seal the bag. Keep some of the grass hanging out. :)
5. Tie on a ribbon with a party circle favor tag.

Voila! You have the cutest snack that the kids will love!

Teacher Appreciation "Sweet and Salty" Celebration

I promised pics of our teacher appreciation "Sweet and Salty' celebration, so here they are. I think it came together nicely for quick planning and set-up. (Thanks Tammy and Wanda for indulging my obsession for parties!)

Of course, I made the cupcake toppers! We kept with the flip flop theme and bright colors throughout. These flip flop tags and a summer theme set are available at my Etsy store.

Here are the yummy Oreo Pops! I added the pink polka dot ribbon to the white clay pot to coordinate with the other colors and ribbons on the table. I chose to use all white serving pieces since there were so many colors in the decorations, etc.

The flower flip flop tree served as the table centerpiece and was a BIG hit. This was the inspiration for the theme and party colors. We had a blast making it and I am sure it will reappear at many different parties. I will post directions and hints soon.

The teachers all left with a party favor of course! We monogrammed tote bags that would be perfect for the beach or to carry school supplies. The teachers were so excited that we secretly collected their initials to add that personal touch to their gift. I made their gift tags with a 3 inch circle punch and coordinating graphics from the cupcake collection!

I think the celebration was fantastic! I am celebrating myself too because I am down to the last couple of boxes from our move! I have missed posting, so I am glad to be able to share more ideas soon.

Party Circles!!

Party Circles are my new obsession! I am using them for everything! I have added them on top of cupcakes for a birthday party, printed them on label paper for favor tags, punched them for gift bag tags, and placed them in a gift for an enclosure card. The possibilities are endless!

Even if you are not crafty and creative you can make these! Just choose your design and pick up a scallop or circle punch from any store that sells craft supplies! (I bought mine from AC Moore and used one of their famous 40% off coupons. You can print these weekly from their web-site.) It is that simple!

I can't wait to share the Pink Flamingo invitations and party circles that I am designing for a super sassy girlfriend's daughter's first birthday. Thanks for the inspiration Becki! Strut on by to see pics soon!

St. Patrick's Day Fun!

The Counts family is ready for St. Patrick's Day! I LOVED these adorable outfits for the little ones. Cate is wearing the smocked shamrock dress to her "school" party!

Sandra Lee, the queen of semi-homemade, is one of my idols. Cate's goodies for her party are definitely semi-homemade (sometimes out-sourcing is key). The cookies and cupcakes are from an adorable local bakery, Amelia Claire's. The green shamrock shaped cookies and cupcakes coordinated with the St. Patrick's Day party circles perfectly! Go grab the party circles from my Etsy store and turn an ordinary treat to extraordinary!
